A dancer, choreographer, producer and educator with a background in scientific research, Artistic Director Lisa Phinney Langley’s explorations in both the arts and science are driven by a curiosity about the fabric of our existence and the threads that connect our experiences with the natural laws of the universe.  Often collaborative and multi-disciplinary, Lisa’s work is dynamic, precise, and rich in visual imagery, with undertones in mystery and spirituality.  

Lisa's choreographic practice has been shaped through generous mentorship from Crystal Pite, Susie Burpee, Lesandra Dodson, Véronique MacKenzie, and the late Tedd Robinson.
