NATHANIEL “NATORIOUS” DOOKS

Nathaniel “Natorious” Dooks is a dedicated breaker and a vibrant force within the Canadian hip hop and street dance community. With almost a decade of experience, he has travelled across the country, competing against some of Canada’s top breakers and earning recognition for both his style and skill.

Nathaniel has trained under several iconic figures in the global breaking scene, including Frost Flow (Ground Illusions Crew), Ynot (Rock Steady Crew), Switch B (Floor Assassins Militia), and Kaze (Supernaturals Crew). His passion for learning and respect for hip hop foundations continue to shape his unique approach to movement and freestyle.

He has taken home wins in breaking competitions across Newfoundland, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia, and has placed in the Top 8 and Top 16 at major events in Toronto and Montreal, earning his place among some of the country's finest.

Nathaniel proudly represents F.L.A.S.H. Crew (Floor Lovers and Style Heads) and is also a member of The Woods, a Halifax-based hip hop dance company. Whether battling, performing, or sharing his knowledge with the next generation, “Natorious” brings authenticity, energy, and community spirit to every space he enters.

Phin Performing Arts operates on the ancestral lands of Mi’kma’ki, in Kjipuktuk/Halifax. We are grateful to share these lands with the Mi’kmaw people.  We respect these lands and their original inhabitants, including the animals and people who have walked here before us, and aim to tread lightly on the earth out of respect for its future inhabitants.
